Tyreek Hill hits back at Noah Lyles over ‘world champions’ controversy… and insists he would beat him in a race!

Tyreek Hill scoffed at Team USA track star Noah Lyles assertion that Super Bowl champions are not ‘world champions’, and not his diss a step further.

The NFL wide receiver known for his speed in open space said he could beat one of the best sprinters in the world in a race.

At the Olympics, Lyles won a gold medal in the 100-meter dash with a time of 9.79 seconds.

During his NFL combine workout, Hill finished with a 4.29-second 40-yard dash, seemingly giving Lyles a huge advantage in a head-to-head race.

Yet, Hill did not take kindly to football player’s accomplishments being diminished.

Tyreek Hill dissed Noah Lyles for saying that Super Bowl winners are not 'world champions'

Lyles was then challenged to a race by the Miami wide receiver, with Hill confident he'd win

‘Noah Lyles can’t say nothing after what just happened to him,’ Hill said. ‘Then he wants to come out and pretend like he’s sick. I feel like that’s horseradish.’

‘So for him to do that and say that we’re not world champions of our sport, come on bruh, just speak on what you know about and that’s track,’ Hill continued.

Then The Miami Dolphins star was asked about a sprint between he and the current 100-meter world champion.

‘I would beat Noah Lyles (in a race). I wouldn’t by a lot,’ Hill added. ‘When I beat him, imma put on a Covid mask and let him know I mean business, because I do mean business.’

Hill refers to Lyles only winning a bronze medal in the 200-meter dash, and immediately falling to the track after the race’s completion.

Lyles then claimed he had tested positive for Covid two days prior to the 200-meter race and was seen doing interviews and accepting his bronze with a mask on.

Lyles originally made the ‘world champion’ comments at the 2023 track world championships in Hungary. His comments resurfaced at the beginning of the Olympics.

On X, Hill doubled down, posting himself in a track uniform with the caption ‘2028 calling my shot’.
