REPORT: Expensive Item Stolen From Travis Kelce’s Mansion In Kansas City Has Been Found In Rhode Island

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes were the victims of burglaries last month, and it appears investigators have made a breakthrough in the former’s case.

A watch belonging to the star tight end has been recovered in Providence, Rhode Island, nearly 1,400 miles from his home.

According to ABC News, the watch was found amid investigators’ quest to bring a close to a series of break-ins, including those at the homes of Kelce, Mahomes, and Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Linval Joseph.

Still, it hasn’t been confirmed that the timepiece was stolen during the burglary on October 7. Initial reports noted that the sum of $20,000 was stolen, but there was no mention of a watch.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Leawood Police Department are investigating the incidents, with the FBI reportedly assisting.

NFL Alerts Players After Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes Have Their Homes Broken Into

The NFL has issued a security alert to teams and the players’ union, warning them of highly organized and skilled groups of thieves targeting the homes of pro athletes.

Said groups are suspected of using team schedules to decide on targets on game days.

The league’s security division has urged players to be vigilant and take measures to secure their homes and property. They have also been discouraged from sharing real-time updates on social media and making it easier for would-be burglars to know when they’re not home.

Travis Kelce has not commented on the burglary, but Patrick Mahomes said it was “frustrating” and “disappointing” while addressing reporters at a recent press conference.
