Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, are expecting their fourth child – and it’s yet another girl!
The news, revealed on Kylie’s Instagram page on Friday, showed an image of their three daughters – Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett – all wearing sweaters that say ‘Big Sister’ on them.
The caption to the post read, ‘I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister. At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page!’
In the photo, Wyatt (the oldest) looks shocked by the news while Bennett (the youngest) is crying.
Meanwhile, Elliotte (the middle child), is seen smiling after hearing the news from her parents.
After batting back rumors of having a fourth child for months, the Kelce’s now revealed that they’re ready to add another to their family.
Jason and Kylie are now preparing for their fourth kid they’ve had since they tied the knot back in April of 2018.
They welcomed Wyatt in October of 2019, Elliotte in March of 2021, and Bennett in February of 2023 – just weeks after Jason lost to his brother, Travis Kelce, in Super Bowl LVII.
Back in May of 2023, Jason spoke about his own experience being a girl dad as he opened up to People Magazine.
‘Before I had children, I told myself if I ever have a daughter, I’m just going to treat them exactly the same as a son. I don’t think that you should treat kids necessarily different,’ he told the outlet.
‘And then when I had a daughter, I was like, ‘I’m not going to spoil her, I’m going to raise her tough. She’s going to be hard.’ And the moment she came out, I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to work.”
Jason also said that having a child changed his perspective on his own parents, Donna and Ed Kelce.
‘I think I told my mom after Wyatt was born, maybe the first year, I was like, ‘I’m sorry, I had no idea what you guys were actually sacrificing and doing on a daily basis for us,” he recalled.
‘Being a father is by far the biggest highlight of my life, no question about it.’
The Kelce’s opened their doors to Amazon with a 2023 Prime Video documentary, simply titled ‘Kelce’, which chronicled his 2022-23 season with the Eagles.
Jason announced his retirement back in March of this year after 13 NFL seasons – thanking Kylie while emphasizing how important it was for him to be there for his daughters.
‘[Kylie] has also given me three beautiful girls and a life that increasingly brings me more fulfillment off the field than it does on,’ he gushed.
‘I am a product of my upbringing. I think one of the best things a person can be in this world is a father. A father who is present, loving and devoted just might be the greatest gift a child could ask for in our society.’
Nowadays, Jason is working with ESPN on ‘Monday Night Countdown’ – the pregame show before ‘Monday Night Football’ – and is still producing episodes of the ‘New Heights’ podcast with Travis.
Recently, Jason was accosted by a furious autograph seeker after he made an appearance on ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’. Jason was getting into his car after the episode, when an unidentified man started hurling insults at him for not signing something.
Jason eventually relented to de-escalate the situation, as seen in video obtained by DailyMail.com. According to Los Angeles Police (via TMZ), that particular man has garnered a reputation for blowing up on celebrities in a similar manner.
