Taylor Swift‘s fans are convinced a Reputation (Taylor’s Version) album announcement is finally imminent.
Speculation amongst avid Swift supporters swirled after the superstar performed a surprise triple-song mashup on the piano.
During her acoustic set of her Eras Tour concert, her last one at Toronto’s Rogers Centre, she addressed the packed stadium while wearing a dazzling blue, white and orange high-low dress.
This comes after months of ongoing speculation and excitement over the highly anticipated re-release of Reputation.
Just last month, Swift changed several of her Eras Tour looks — one of which was her Reputation bodysuit, which fans are convinced is another sign the announcement is soon to come.
Fueling the excitement, Swift also seemed to hint at it during her Toronto show on Saturday.
‘I think about what might they like to hear and what haven’t they heard in a while. Wish me luck,’ she said, sharing her thoughts aloud, while strumming her guitar before performing her surprise songs.
‘That’s the wrong key, so wish me more luck than that,’ she joked while correcting herself.
Swift started off by playing Ours from her Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) album, per a report from USA Today.
Then, the pop phenom segued into Last Great American Dynasty from Folklore.
When she set down her guitar and started playing her piano, the audience roared as she played a mashup.
She performed Cassandra from The Tortured Poets Department as well as Mad Woman and I Did Something Bad.
The dramatic performance teamed with impassioned lyrics reminded fans of the theme from her Reputation era.
Swifties further speculated excitedly that she would soon be making an announcement about re-releasing her sixth studio album.
At the end of her acoustic set and the fiery mashup, she dramatically concluded with: ‘Do you believe me now? They say I did something bad… When the truth comes out, it’s quiet.’
A fan account chimed in on the predictions and tweeted: ‘So she played the most Rep TV-coded mashup ever and then did a countdown from 5 to 4 when there’s 4 shows left to closing night.
‘I told myself I wasn’t going to clown but the WIG PUT ITSELF ON THIS TIME.’
Swift has completed more than 140 shows across five continents.
Toronto is her second-to-last stop and she hhas three more concerts left in Vancouver from December 6 to 8 before wrapping up the juggernaut concert tour.
