Jason Kelce has said Taylor Swift has offered to take care of any friends wanting tickets to her Eras Tour – but he has refused to take her up on the offer.
The Philadelphia Eagles hero, who retired from the NFL in the summer, visited The Rich Eisen show where he reflected on what has been a dramatic two years for himself and his family.
The 37-year-old spoke fondly of Swift but revealed he didn’t want to create an awkward dynamic with her by relying on favors and free tickets.
He told Eisen: ‘It has been a whirlwind, the past two years – the podctas, teh Super Bowl with Travis, Travis dating Taylor… a whirlwind of events.’
Eisen then joked about Kelce sorting out tickets for Swift’s wildly popular Eras Tour, to which he laughed and said: ‘Well, thankfully I don’t get a lot of people reaching out for Taylor Swift tickets. It is an immediate no but I don’t get a lot of that.
‘As much as Taylor has said she will take care of anybody that I ask for. She does say that, she’s great. But I still say no to everybody.
‘I’m not going to be the one to impose on that. I am not going to put that position out there.
‘She has been nothing but lovely to our family. She is a wonderful person. I don’t want that to be a dynamic. Where is the line? I’m not even broaching the line, I’m staying away from the line!’
Swift only has three shows left of her Eras Tour, scheduled to take place from Dec. 6-8 in Vancouver, Canada.
Jason, the singer and his younger brother Travis could all reunite later this week for Thanksgiving.
On the last episode of their New Heights podcast, Jason said he would be in Kansas City for Thanksgiving because Travis and the Chiefs play on the Friday against Las Vegas Raiders.
Jason has still made it to several Eras Tour shows this year, even if he is hesitant to ask for tickets.
He caught a show in London with Travis in the summer and also saw her perform in Miami with his family, with Travis unable to attend due to his commitments with the Chiefs.
It has been a big week for Kelce in his own right, as well. His wife Kylie announced on Friday that she is pregnant with their fourth child – a fourth girl.
