Travis Kelce sent his heartfelt congratulations to fellow NFL star Josh Allen on social media after the quarterback announced his engagement.
The Buffalo Bills star revealed he had popped the question to his girlfriend, actress Hailee Steinfeld, by sharing a photo of him down on one knee against a glorious coastal backdrop to Instagram on Black Friday.
’11•22•24′ read the caption, suggesting the Bills star popped the question last week – during Buffalo’s bye week.
Kelce, who is of course in a high-profile A-List relationship of his own with Taylor Swift, joined the 1.5 million users who likes the romantic social media post, while also sharing a message to Allen.
‘Congratulations,’ the Kansas City Chiefs star wrote in the comments along with two applauding emojis and a couple of raised-hands icons – seemingly putting the Bills’ Week 11 victory over Kelce and co. behind them.
Eagle-eyed Swifties were quick to spot the tight end’s message amid the thousands sending their well-wishes to the newly-engaged couple and many had the same reaction to Kelce’s comment.

The fans of the songstress almost instantly inundated Kelce’s comment with replies claiming he would be the next NFL star to be buying a ring.
‘You next,’ multiple responses to the comment, which also garnered over 2,500 likes, suggested.
‘I see you,’ and ‘Trav, your move,’ read others from a couple of over-excited members of the songstress’s fanbase.
‘You wish that was you huh,’ another social media user posted, suggesting Kelce was ready to pop the question to the 14-time Grammy Award winner.
Swift joined Kelce at Arrowhead once again on Friday to cheer on her NFL beau as the Chiefs narrowly sealed a 19-17 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
The pop sensation strolled into Arrowhead shortly before the Week 13 matchup wearing her usual red-themed outfit, and she was joined by Travis’ mom Donna for her walk to the VIP suites – after spending a loved-up Thanksgiving with her man.
Swift has been to every Chiefs home game this season, with Friday marking her sixth appearance in the VIP suite at Arrowhead in the 2024 season.
Since she started dating the team’s tight end, she has watched the Chiefs 19 times – more than most fans.
It is believed that the popstar spent her first Thanksgiving with the Kelces on Thursday, after her South American concert dates kept her apart from the family in 2023.
Swift is currently enjoying a couple of weeks of downtime from her sold-out Eras Tour, having performed in Toronto for the past two weekends.
The final stop is back in Canada with three nights in Vancouver from Friday to Sunday, before the worldwide tour comes to an emotional end.
Meanwhile, it appears that Kelce’s rival put his time away from the field last week to good use.
Allen enjoyed a brief break from NFL action after inspiring his team to a crucial win over back-to-back Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Bills face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night and it seems the quarterback used his time off to ask Steinfeld to marry him.
‘It was fantastic,’ he said with a wry smile while giving nothing away. ‘It was great. Got some sun, hung out with family… it was fantastic.’
The couple were first spotted together in May 2023, shortly after Allen split from longtime girlfriend Brittany Williams.
