Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair is going to be suspended for his actions against Trevor Lawrence.
Lawrence suffered a debilitating injury in the second quarter. Al-Shaair struck him high as he began to slide, causing the quarterback’s head to slam into the turf.
The 25-year-old was helped onto a cart and ruled out with a head injury.
ESPN reported that the NFL will likely suspend Al-Shaair, with the only question being for how long.
