Social media detectives have discovered a series of 11-year-old tweets from Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy about the beloved Big Bird character from “Sesame Street.”
Jerry Jeudy had a career day in the Browns’ 41-32 road loss to the Denver Broncos on “Monday Night Football.” In his first game against his former team, the 2020 first-round pick caught nine passes for 235 yards and a touchdown.
The 25-year-old is now on his way to posting the best regular season totals of his career. Jeudy is now up to 54 receptions for 880 yards and three touchdowns, needing just 93 more yards to set a personal best.
We’re not exactly sure how they discovered it, but social media detectives came across a series of bizarre tweets from Jerry Jeudy on Jeudy, then 14 years of age, went on a completely random Twitter rant about Big Bird.

My lingering fantasy playoff hopes essentially depend on whether or not Big Bird will be in Denver to distract Jerry Jeudy from having more than one catch for four yards. pic.twitter.com/sAwxZODVQq

Here’s hoping that a Cleveland Browns reporter comes across this and can ask Jeudy what these tweets were about.
Up next, Jeudy and the Browns will try to pull off another upset and season series sweep of the Pittsburgh Steelers when they clash at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday. With wins against the Steelers and Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens in their back pockets, who’s to say the Browns can’t win in Steel City?
Jerry Jeudy Trade Has Been A Win For The Browns
The Browns acquired Jeudy from the Broncos back in March for 2024 fifth and sixth-round picks. The ex-Alabama star then signed a lucrative three-year contract extension worth $58 million.
Cleveland has been one of football’s biggest disappointments this season with a 3-9 record, but the Jeudy-Jameis Winston connection has been a positive. Now in his fifth season, it looks like Jeudy has finally arrived as the No. 1 receiver he never became in Denver.
