The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions faced off last night in the final regular-season duel, and it came down to the final seconds.
Detroit came out victorious, 34-31.
Like any game, it did not go off without some controversy.
One play during the game already has fans upset and wanting a player on the Detroit Lions suspended.
Lions safety Kerby Joseph seemingly tried to end the career of Packers tight end Tucker Kraft late in the third quarter when he purposely dove right at Kraft’s leg.
He would’ve been seriously injured if Kraft had not jumped to avoid it. That moment came an hour or so after those two players were jawing with each other in the tunnel before the game.
That blatant attempt on another player’s legs caused one X user to accuse Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions of running a bounty program.
I’ve never seen a team so brazenly attempt to injure opposing players like Dan Campbell’s Lions…
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised after Campbell was a part of Bountygate. pic.twitter.com/wKV1xfBR7W

The hits just kept on coming, and many more started accusing the Lions of having bounties.
“The Lions are the dirtiest team in the NFL. Kerby was trying to take out players knees last night, he’s a complete f–king scumbag. Dan Campbell was in New Orleans for Bounty Gate. Coincidence? I don’t think so. They have the most targeting penalties in the NFL,” one irate fan stated.
“Yeah the lions 100000% have a bounty gate situation going on and you can’t convince me otherwise,” another fan stated.

“Will not make me believe the Lions aren’t doing what the Saints did, Campbell was part of the bounty gate… think he isn’t telling his players to knock guys out of games? The Lions are dirty, you can have a tough defense and be good at tackling without injuring a dude,” another X user stated.
A female fan added: “Wouldn’t be surprised if the lions are investigated for a saints bounty gate type scenario.. too many players TRYING to hurt the opposing team. Just dirty.”
One final added: “Lions are running a bounty gate scheme. Refs bail out Detroit two weeks in a row.”

The Detroit Lions Started 1-1 And Decided Not To Lose Another Game
The Lions lost a home game to the Tampa Bay Bucs on September 15th. They were 1-1.
The team decided they disliked the feeling and kept winning games.
The Detroit Lions clinched a spot in the NFC playoff bracket after beating the Green Bay Packers, 34-31, at Ford Field. They now have a record of 12-1 and have won eleven games in a row.
They are not only the hottest team in the league, but a viable Super Bowl contender.
