DeVonta Smith was everyone who bet on Saquon Barkley to get into the end zone at least once on Sunday night, as he wanted nothing more than to slap his Eagles teammate for opting to slide instead of adding to the team’s lead against the Packers.
With the Eagles up 22-10 and not keen on giving possession back, Barkley slid to the ground around the 40-yard line once he secured a first down despite having an opportunity to run for an easy TD.
DeVonta Smith Couldn’t Believe Saquon Barley Didn’t Keep Running
The decision cost bettors lots of money as it was a brutal bad beat. Smith was not happy with Barkley either and claimed he would slap him while walking down the sideline.
He then motioned to the running back to come over to him, telling him, “Come here,” before unloading on him for choosing not to run.
A.J. Brown joined in as Barkley argued his case, telling him no one would catch his “fast a**” and suggesting he should have at least gone down at the 10-yard line.
