Pat Mahomes Sr. is ready for today’s AFC Championship Game as he showed as much as he took to his X account, previously Twitter,
Mahomes Sr. sent a quick message to Chiefs fans, saying, “Feeling this energy today!! #ChiefsKingdom,” Mahomes wrote.
In his message, he posted a photo of himself celebrating with his son after the Chiefs’ AFC title game win in Baltimore one year ago.
Pat Mahomes Sr. has spent the last year dealing with his inner demons that have caused him legal trouble stemming from his DUI arrest one week before Super Bowl LVIII.
He was sentenced to 10 days in jail in October.
Social media was unforgiving to Mahomes Sr. under his post:
“DUI #4 after the game?” one fan asked.
“Who’s driving you to the game?” another fan asked.
“This should be an ad for Uber,” a third fan mocked.
“Remember, sobriety is cool too,” a fourth fan stated.
One final fan shot back at pat Mahomes Sr.: “Don’t drink & drive.”

The father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes served a 10-day sentence after pleading guilty to his third charge of driving while intoxicated.
