Footage of Drake went viral this week after he was seemingly caught off guard by a drone while currently in Australia on his Anita Max Win Tour.
A short clip making the rounds on social media shows a drone getting a close-up of a laptop sitting on an outdoor patio table as the Canadian rapper walks in.
Suddenly, the 38-year-old gets startled as he walks outside before attempting to throw a sandal at the drone.
The footage then backs up to reveal what is presumed to be a penthouse in the Sydney, Australia, area.
Drake’s penthouse was high up, so that sandal had a long way to go down, and hopefully, it did not strike anyone below.
Unfortunately, it appears social media detectives saw right through the footage.
Some specific details in the video made people believe it could’ve been a staged advertisement for a specific platform, and they were correct.
The visual opens with a drone facing his laptop, which shows him on a gambling site. Drizzy is a known sports bettor and has had a deal with Stake for years.
Eagle-eyed viewers noticed the reflection of another man in the glass windows, more than likely the drone operator.

Drake is currently touring Australia and New Zealand as part of his “Anita Max Win Tour,” but he ended up going viral over something that wasn’t music-related this week.
A viral video has surfaced showing a drone flying inside Drake’s suite that apparently caught him off guard.
The drone dodges his andal throw and flies outward to catch a wide view of the area.
On Instagram, the 6 God posted a screenshot of him throwing the shoe at the drone and a photo of him wearing a Stake shirt.
“The stakes are high,” Drake wrote in his latest Instagram caption. “But so am I.”
