Donald Trump is one of the most famous presidents in the history of the United States. During both his terms, he has caused the USA so many issues but has also been so beneficial that many people don’t know what to think.
The 47th president of the United States’ most recent term has already had its ups and downs, and President Trump certainly realizes what he’s been doing. Between Tariffs, Zelenskyy, and his felony status, he has made more than enough headlines.
Of course, many things are out of his control, and he seems to understand that. One of those things would be the scary number of recent plane crashes around the world. Certainly worrying to anyone in general.
During a recent news report on WAAY 31 News, Trump was asked about a recent crash in Pennsylvania. This follows recent concerns from Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy that his department is ‘being gutted’ after hundreds of layoffs in February.
Donald Trump Claims Crashes Have “Noting To Do” With Recent Layoffs

The crash in question, evidently happening in Pennsylvania, consisted of a small engined plane that was carrying five passengers crashed in near an airport. While two people still remain in critical condition, all five survived the crash.
“[Duffy’s] been dealing with these crashes ever since he was sworn in. Does he have a legitimate concern?” asked the reporter, to which the President responded, “Well, that has nothing to do with the Department.”
He added, “They have space like this, you know, there are times where things happen a little bit more often than normal, and then it goes back and you go, many years without having a problem.”
While these events may have been tragic, realistically, there is no real way to prevent them from happening aside from the proper training of pilots. Unfortunately, these things do happen randomly, and Trump is quite aware of that.
