Former Cristo Rey Jesuit High School security coordinator Fernando Bustos faces felony charges after allegedly installing a hidden camera in the girl’s locker room.
Milwaukee police had to be called after tensions rose after a meeting Friday in the aftermath of the security guard being accused of filming teenage girls in a locker room.
A regularly scheduled school board meeting was held, but it descended into chaos as tempers flared after no new information was given to them, and they thought the school’s interim principal, Patrick Bader, showed no empathy for students.
The school set aside 20 minutes for parents and students to voice their comments and concerns. After 45 minutes, the school said the dialogue was no longer constructive and no progress was being made.
That led to the board ending that portion.
Cristo Rey Jesuit High School said the Milwaukee Police Department was asked to be on-site to ensure the safety and security of everyone attending Friday’s meeting.
Footage from the incident shows how chaotic things got for everyone involved, as parents wanted answers.
Apparently, the school called the police on February 19th about the hidden camera from Fernando Bustos.
Parents were pissed about the situation since they weren’t informed until weeks later.
Everyone eventually left without any incident, police said.
“At Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Milwaukee, our first priorities are always the physical, emotional, and spiritual safety and security of our students,” the school said a press release to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “We remain deeply committed to providing a safe, educational environment for our students and to protecting their privacy.”
Former Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Security Coordinator Facing Years In Prison

41-year-old Fernando Bustos has been charged with invasion of privacy using a surveillance device involving a victim under 18.
The Class 1 felony carries up to three years and six months in prison.
School administrators discovered hundreds of videos on an SD card in his office after his termination in February 2025. They showed footage inside the girl’s locker room, which was captured by a hidden camera.
