President Donald Trump received a warning from a protest group after activists vandalized his renowned golf course, Trump Turnberry, in Scotland. The course, a crown jewel in Trump’s global golf empire, became a target earlier this month when demonstrators tore up sections of the green, sprayed red paint across the property, and damaged the clubhouse.
Police Scotland confirmed that officers took a 75-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman into custody in Oban on Wednesday before releasing them pending further inquiries. Earlier this month, police also detained a 33-year-old man but later released him. The investigation remains ongoing.
Protest Group Issues Warning

The group stated, “To make that clear, we have shown him that his own property is not safe from acts of resistance.” The organization calls itself a “direct-action network” that opposes alleged complicity in occupation, apartheid, and genocide in Palestine.
Trump has made his stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict clear, recently stating his intention to take control of Gaza and transform it into a luxury resort. His remarks have intensified opposition from groups like Palestine Action, which accuse him of enabling oppression.
With multiple high-profile golf courses across the United States and Europe, Donald Trump now faces the challenge of securing his properties against future disruptions. His Scottish course, Turnberry, remains a significant asset, but this latest attack underscores the growing tensions surrounding his political positions.
As the investigation continues, authorities will determine whether to make further arrests, while Trump’s team has yet to disclose any new security measures.
