U.S. President Donald Trump seemed to snub White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt during the NCAA wrestling finals, and it was all news.
Trump arrived at the arena in Philadelphia on Saturday, March 22, 20255. While the event marked President Trump’s first return to Pennsylvania since winning the state in the controversial 2024 presidential election, cameras were taping something else.
When he arrived at the Wells Fargo Center, the American president was headed with his administration members. As cameras caught him, Trump greeted with handshakes to Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick and U.S Republican Jim Jordan.
While he reached Leavitt, Trump passed on her and went on to shake hands with the next person standing right with the Press Secretary.
Although many attributed that since Karoline accompanied him to the event, Trump did not shake hands with her while he was meeting others.
Donald Trump Gets Welcome Cheers From At NCAA Wrestling Championship

As he walked into the Wells Fargo Arena, the crowd erupted into cheers, standing ovations, and chanting, “U-S-A, U-S-A!” It was a moment to remember as Trump waved to the excited fans, soaking up the energy of the event.
Even ESPN got in on the action, pausing an interview with national champion Carter Starocci to show Trump’s big entrance on screen.
Once he settled into his seat, Starocci had the chance to greet Trump, shaking his hand and capturing some great photos with his shiny championship trophy.
Additionally, Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt also posted a picture showing Trump and Starocci sharing a playful wrestling embrace.
“Coolest. President. Ever,” Leavitt captioned her post.
Accompanying Trump were Elon Musk and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, who himself is a two-time NCAA wrestling champion. Jordan was thrilled about the presence of the president, emphasizing how special it was to show their sport for him.
