The sports community is in mourning after the shocking loss of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf, but now Jason Whitlock is ready for some actual actions to be taken.
Jason Whitlock has launched an astonishing rant on the media in the wake of the tragic event.
“Will anybody in media talk about Austin Metcalf the way they talked about George Floyd?” Whitlock asked in his latest rant.
He continued: “What’s more of a tragedy, a criminal overdosing on fentanyl, or a Christian, high-school, straight-A athlete murdered at a track meet?”
Metcalf, a star high school football player, died in his twin brother’s arms after he was stabbed in the heart at a track and field meet in a Dallas Suburb for asking someone to move out of a seat.
The controversial sports columnist then brought up 17-year-old Ethan Liming, who was shooting a toy water gun with friends and got into a fight with another group that would take his life back in 2022.
The high school senior was brutally beaten to death outside an Ohio school created by LeBron James’ foundation by several black kids.
What Happened Between Karmelo Anthony And Austin Metcalf?

The victim’s twin brother, Hunter Metcalf, was also at the meet and noticed the altercation before witnessing his brother get stabbed and eventually taking his last breath in his arms.
Metcalf was transported to a hospital, where he died despite lifesaving measures by first responders, police said.
Karmelo Anthony allegedly became enraged over being told he was sitting in the wrong seat prior to the alteration. In response, he allegedly pulled out a knife and attacked Austin.
17-year-old Karmelo, a student at Frisco Centennial High School, has been charged with first-degree murder.
