Bill Murray just wants to be left alone.
The legendary actor made headlines after a viral video showed him confronting a fan at an NYC theater, accusing them of “physical assault.”
Murray furiously lashed out at a pushy fan who seemed to harass the actor inside a New York City movie theater.
In the now viral clip, the 74-year-old actor was seen confronting the unidentified fan while pointing his finger in his face at the AMC Lincoln Square 13 last month.
“You attack me like that again, I’ll step on your foot,” Bill Murray was heard saying as he approached the fan that was behind him.
Social media had a lot to say about the interaction:
“That Chicago side came out of him real quick,” one fan said.
“in all fairness why do they have to get so close? why do they even approach him? like seeing a celebrity irl is probably cool but I dont think i’d go out of my way to harass them,” another fan added.
“Honestly, he seemed pretty in control and was annoyed by the guy right behind him tripping him,” a third fan said of Bill Murray.
“He didn’t really lose it. The dude was in his space, back off man,” a fourth fan stated.
One final fan told of a story of Murray: “I went to a game his son was coaching and he was in the stands. Literally every 2 min someone was coming up to him for a selfie. I can’t imagine how annoying that must be.”
Bill Murray Catching Backlash For Kissing Naomi Watts

Bill Murray has some explaining to do after he received major backlash for forcibly kissing Naomi Watts.
The actor appeared on Watch What Happens Live alongside Watts, with whom he stars in the new film The Friend.
Watts, who is married to Billy Crudup, was asked about the best movie or TV kiss of her career, and Murray quickly grabbed her face and kissed her.
Watts appeared visibly shocked.
However, she took the moment in stride and said, “You’ve got lipstick on her face.” She then asked: “Did I go red?”
