Social media thinks the “script” for the NFL Draft has leaked ahead of Thursday night’s event.
The draft will be held at Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers, this Thursday. The Tennessee Titans currently hold the first overall pick.
As far as rehearsals go, they won’t be drafting a quarterback and appear to have decided on former Princeton player Matthew Winston.
The Titans are widely expected to select Cam Ward out of Miami, yet Winston was the one chosen during rehearsals on Wednesday, with a video surfacing online showing as much.
“Script leaked,” one fan wrote in the comments.
“they leaked it ?? damn,” said a second.
Other fans were concerned that the Titans might actually pick Winston, given the team’s reputation.
Of course, that’s unlikely to be the case. The former defensive back played two seasons at Princeton, with his last in 2021. According to his LinkedIn profile, he’s a senior coordinator for broadcasting and media distribution for the NFL.
The Tennessee Titans Probably Won’t Be Selecting Matthew Winston In Tonight’s NFL Draft

The video shown above was for ceremonial purposes, and Titans fans will hope that Ward is the one who takes that walk in a few hours.
The quarterback wants to be drafted by Tennessee. He recently showered praise on Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard, and Tyjae Spears, claiming they’re the best in their respective positions during a ‘Fortnite’ live stream.
He was also heard saying, “Titan Up, chat! Titan Up!” while streaming.
The team’s front office is pretty high on Ward and even cancelled workouts with other top prospects in Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, making it clear that the former Hurricanes star would be their man.
Ward was a Heisman finalist last season, ultimately losing out to Hunter after throwing for a total of 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
