The Jaxson Dart era is underway in New York following the Giants’ decision to take him in the first round of the NFL Draft, over Shedeur Sanders at that.
Dart was selected as the 25th overall pick on Thursday night. The G-Men subsequently re-entered the first round via trade, having initially picked edge rusher Abdul Carter at No. 3.
It appears the team has a two-for-one deal, as Jaxson is said to have arrived at their facility with a “clone backup” following the life-changing development.
“Jaxson Dart comes with a clone backup quarterback just in case he is ever needed,” MLFootball posted as the caption to a video showing the quarterback entering the building with his younger brother, Diesel Dart, and the rest of his family.

“Mfs drafted the Paul brothers,” another joked.
Fans were also high on Jaxson’s brother’s name, and for good reason. Diesel Dart is a pretty solid appellation.
Jaxson Dart Signs Massive Rookie Contract With The Giants

Dart has reportedly signed a four-year deal with the Giants worth $17 million, which includes a $9 million signing bonus and a fifth-year option for 2009.
The Giants also brought in veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Wilson during the offseason. Still, certain analysts reckon Dart could be allowed to start immediately despite head coach Brian Daboll declaring Wilson the starter for 2025.
