Bill Belichick Makes Official Final Decision On His Controversial Book Tour Amid Jordon Hudson Drama

Bill Belichick would rather talk football than fuel tabloid drama, but his book tour has taken on a life of its own. The legendary coach stepped into the spotlight to promote his upcoming autobiography, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football, only to find the headlines veering off course.

His recent CBS Sunday Morning interview, meant to shine a light on his coaching legacy, turned awkward fast. When host Tony Dokoupil asked about Belichick’s relationship with girlfriend Jordon Hudson, she quickly cut him off, saying, “We’re not talking about this.”

According to TMZ, Hudson eventually walked off the set, leaving production at a standstill for 30 minutes. And just like that, the focus shifted from football to friction.

Belichick plans to focus on the book itself, despite the distractions. On Tuesday, May 6- the book’s release day- he will appear at NYU’s business school for an exclusive conversation with Professor and New York Times bestselling author Suzy Welch. The event begins at 5 p.m. ET and is free to the public. Attendees can get their books signed before and after the discussion.

“This is a conversation about life, learning, losing – and winning big – that is not to be missed!” the event page promises.

Belichick previewed the tone of the evening in a message posted by Hudson on Instagram.
