Shedeur Sanders is ready to get to work.
Sanders arrived at rookie minicamp on Thursday, and according to the Cleveland Browns’ official X account, he was right on time.
Sanders arrived at the parking lot and walked around a truck parked near the team’s offices, where someone from the social media team was ready and waiting for him to arrive.
The former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback appeared to be in high spirits as he entered the building for his first day of work. He was carrying a large bag and wearing one of his signature sweatshirts, which featured the dollar sign and a No. 2.
Cleveland is scheduled to open its rookie minicamp on Friday.
This is hardly the first time Sanders has been captured on video arriving at the team facility. Days after the draft, Shedeur Sanders shared a video on social media walking into a Browns themed, downtown gym called Browns Fit.
That same week, he showed his face to the community as he surprised kids at John Marshall High School. There, he spoke to students and answered questions for about 15 minutes.
He ignited the youngsters when he declared that he’s “trying to bring Cleveland a Super Bowl.”
Shedeur Sanders Might Be In The Perfect Situation
The Cleveland Browns quarterback competition is a major NFL storyline after the 2025 NFL Draft.
Cleveland drafted two quarterbacks, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
Sanders is likely last on the depth chart. In Cleveland’s crowded quarterback room, snaps will come at a premium as Gabriel and Sanders compete with Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett.
Cleveland quarterback Deshaun Watson could miss all of next season with an Achilles injury.
Going forward, this might be the best situation for Shedeur Sanders, as Flacco and Pickett are both on one-year deals, and the team has already stated that it regrets trading for Watson.
All three could be gone from the roster in 2026.
That leaves Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
