The singer-songwriter, 38, announced the happy news on Instagram, writing: ‘Happy #mummymondays. Welcome our beautiful Nalima Rose to the world. We are so in love.’
In the photo on her post, Joss is seen posing in a hospital bed looking content, with her baby daughter wrapped in a blanket on her chest.
Since Joss announced she was pregnant with her first child Violet with her now-husband Cody DaLuz in 2020, the pair have also welcomed son Shackleton in 2022.
In December last year the couple revealed they’d adopted a baby boy called Bear.
At the time Joss said that after finding out she was set to have another child: ‘Shocked was an understatement.’
The You Had Me singer previously spoke about experiencing a difficult birth with her second child during which her uterus split.
At the time, Joss said doctors told her she can have another child but that she would be unable to give birth naturally.
Last week Joss revealed her ‘crazy’ C-section plans in a ‘bump update’ to her social media followers.
She began: ‘Ok bump update, I look massive today. This is a big belly. We are four days away pretty much. Baby is coming out on Saturday.’
Joss continued: ‘The crazy thing is Violet goes to dance class and she has a dance recital on Saturday.
‘So, I said to my doctor who came to the gig in Nashville, “I’m so sorry but we’ve got to change the C-section date because baby girl has a dance recital” and he said “don’t worry I’ll just move it.”
‘So it moved from 10am to 4pm. So now Vi is going to dance around 1:10pm then I have to be at the hospital for about 2pm. So, it’s going to be a crazy day.’
Due to their growing family, Joss and Cody have been forced to change up their bedtime routine big time.
Speaking on her A Cuppa Love podcast, Joss explained: ‘It can work – I should hope so, because I sleep with my daughter Violet now.
‘Cody watches horror movies. Every now and then I’ll wake up and I’ll go in and give him a little cuddle.
‘It’s so crazy – we have so many children, I have to make sure that they stay asleep without screaming. So this is a children’s scenario.
‘I’m like, I’m not going to be in there, waking [Cody] up every five minutes. I go in with my baby Violet who, by the way, will not go to sleep unless I’m there – that’s probably my fault, but I love that – and then I do my whole night shift. But it’s crazy.
‘People are like, “Oh, that’s so bad!” But I’m still not going in there because he watches horror movies. I’m not doing that.’
Joss believes their marriage works because they ‘find time’ for romance and also spend time at the gym together.
‘It can work if you are romantic with each other – if you’re not sleeping in the same room, and that’s your only time for romance, then it’s a problem.
‘You’ve gotta be like, “I love you babe but I’m going back in the other room because you’re watching a slasher movie. Goodbye. I’ll see ya later! I’ll see you when I pop her out and get my body back.”‘
