President Donald Trump sent social media into a frenzy by committing an embarrassing gaffe on live television at the 51st G7 Summit on Monday.
Other world leaders at the 51st G7 Summit include United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
According to the Associated Press, Trump and Starmer announced on Monday that they agreed to a significant trade deal. The U.S. will reduce its tariffs on U.K. cars, and the United Kingdom will reduce tariffs on beef and ethanol.
Speaking to reporters about the agreement, however, Donald Trump committed a hilarious blunder by accidentally dropping documents for the trade deal:
Social media had all sorts of priceless reactions to the viral video:
“Grandpa needs a nap,” a user said.
“Can Trump go one day without embarrassing himself and the country? The UK is not part of the EU,” said another.
“I love how he tries to play it off.. “a little windy” THERE IS NO WIND DONNY OTHERWISE YOUR TOUPE WOULD BE FLYING LEFT TO RIGHT,’ a user commented.
“He’s with PM Starmer of the UK saying he has an agreement with the EU. Hmmmm. He has no idea what day it is,” said another.
“Pathetic. Trump can’t carry papers without chaos — but you want him carrying the future of the free world? What’s next, a sippy cup in the Situation Room?” a user asked.
“Betcha some aide will be fired now…😏,” joked another.
If Donald Trump’s little mishap looked familiar, perhaps you’re thinking of the iconic intro of the iconic ’90s “Goosebumps” series, where a person playing author R.L. Stine sees the papers from his briefcase fly out and into the wind:
Trump took office on Jan. 20, becoming the oldest U.S. President to begin a term in the White House at 78 years and 220 days. His predecessor, Joe Biden, previously held the record at 78 years and 61 days.
Donald Trump Is The Second U.S. President To Serve Two Non-Consecutive Terms

By defeating Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, Trump became the second U.S. president to serve non-consecutive terms. The feat was previously only held by Grover Cleveland, who held office from 1885 to 1889 and 1893 to 1897.
