NFL fans had a lot to say after learning just how much money Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce makes in his deal with Pfizer.
It has been reported that Kelce’s deal with Pfizer is worth $20 million. On Wednesday, the ML Football X/Twitter account sent out a viral post about how Kelce’s Pfizer contract is richer than his 2025 salary of $17.125 million:
As you would expect, social media had all sorts of reactions to this post about Travis Kelce’s Pfizer deal:
“And some people wonder why we can’t trust “big pharma,” a user wrote.
“Whatever, he’s allowed to do business. Y’all won’t be happy no matter what he does….,” said another.
“I’m unvaxxed but for $20 mil I’d tell everyone to get the shot. Sorry not sorry,” a fan said.
“Why does Pfizer need to pay Travis Kelce $20m,” asked another.
“Good for him. I’d do it too. 😝,” a user wrote.
“How pfizarre!!” joked another.
You may recall that in Oct. 2023, Aaron Rodgers took a shot at Kelce by calling him “Mr. Pfizer.” Kelce clapped back by saying he looks like “Mr. Pfizer,” with his new mustache. Kelce also quipped, “Mr. Pfizer against the Johnson and Johnson family over there.”
Rodgers was a member of the New York Jets at the time. The team’s owner, Woody Johnson, is the heir to the Johnson & Johnson corporation. The company produced out a COVID-19 vaccine, too.
Travis Kelce May Retire After The 2025 Season

After the Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59, Kelce took some time away to ponder his future in football. The three-time Super Bowl champion decided it wasn’t time to hang up the boots, ultimately agreeing to come back for at least another season.
Kelce and the Chiefs will kick off their 2025 season against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 5.
