A youth baseball game at Rosemead Park Fields on August 24, 2025, turned into an unexpected brawl. It started over a disputed call that led to the coach’s ejection. Tempers flared, words were exchanged, but the situation escalated quickly.
In the video, the coach aggressively approached the umpire first, clearly upset about a prior call. After being ejected, he spat in the umpire’s face and called him a “bi**h.” The umpire, who is reportedly a military veteran, responded by punching and bringing the coach down in an intense physical fight in front of stunned spectators.
The organizer confirmed both men were removed from the game, and law enforcement was called to the field.
Parents and young players looked on in disbelief as the ugly scene unfolded. Nevertheless, Tournament organizer Herman Baca spoke after the game and claimed how disappointing the whole episode was, saying, “Sportsmanship is key and should always be passed along through generations.”
