With Brandon Graham ending his retirement to return to the Philadelphia Eagles, fans are naturally wondering if Jason Kelce could follow suit and pursue another Super Bowl ring.
Brandon Graham initially retired after helping the Eagles to a Super Bowl 59 triumph over the Kansas City Chiefs. Graham was the third Eagles’ icon to retire within the year, as Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox both walked away following the 2023 season.
Graham’s leadership and championship DNA will be embraced by an Eagles team that has hardly resembled last year’s Super Bowl-winning squad, despite a 5-2 record. Will Graham’s return convince the former All-Pro center to return as well?
After ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news of Graham’s return, an Eagles fan wrote, “Yo @JasonKelce u busy?” on X/Twitter:
Unsurprisingly, Kelce made it clear that he will not end his one-year retirement:
Even if Jason Kelce wanted to come out of retirement, it wouldn’t be so simple. They already have one of the league’s best centers in Cam Jurgens, who was drafted in the second round in 2022 to succeed Kelce. He earned his first Pro Bowl nod in 2024 and hasn’t allowed a single sack this season, per Pro Football Focus.
Jason Kelce Is Doing Just Fine In Retirement

Jason Kelce and his younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, continue to host their successful “New Heights” podcast that landed a nine-figure deal with Amazon’s Wondery in August 2024.
Kelce has two excellent and well-paid gigs going for him in his post-football life, not to mention that he gets to spend much more time with his family now. With the Eagles set at center, there’s really no reason for him to end his retirement.
