Brittany Mahomes made sure husband Patrick’s birthday didn’t get forgotten about amid the Kansas City Chiefs‘ celebrations.
The Chiefs clinched a last-gasp win over the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday but the Mahomes family had more cause for celebration.
The quarterback will turn 29 on Tuesday as his wife threw him a birthday party following Sunday’s game at Arrowhead.
The pregnant mother-of-two decorated the house in style, showing off an incredible balloon arrangement on her Instagram story.
Brittany shared a snap of a massive black, red and silver balloon arch sprawling across a corner of the room with a giant 29 metallic cutout at the center.
Another flashy decoration took over the area underneath the staircase with a big sign reading, ‘Patrick’s 29,’ in the middle.
The former soccer player even had custom cups and beer holders made, featuring childhood photos of the three-time Super Bowl winner.
Later, Brittany shared a video of the signal caller blowing out his candles on a cake with a beer in hand.
A group of guests could be heard singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to the Chiefs star but it’s unclear who made the guest list.
There was no sign of teammate Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift on Brittany’s Instagram story, despite the popstar also being in attendance at Arrowhead for Sunday’s game.
However, the songstress didn’t sit with Brittany in the same suite for a second week running.
The pair have developed a close bond through their respective relationships with Chiefs stars Kelce and Mahomes, but have publicly supported different presidential candidates of late, with Mahomes herself seen liking a Donald Trump social media post and Swift endorsing Kamala Harris.
And while the friends were seen back together at last weekend’s US Open, they sat apart for the second consecutive week in Kansas City as Swift was seen without Mahomes in her suite.
Swift, who has been dating tight end Kelce since last year, arrived to the game earlier in the day with her mother Andrea, her brother Austin, and singer Danielle Haim.
It comes after the Chiefs WAGs endorsed different candidates in the upcoming Presidential election. ‘
Brittany, who has been married to the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback since 2022, sparked a liberal meltdown last month when she liked a Donald Trump post on social media.
Meanwhile, Taylor publicly endorsed Kamala Harris in an Instagram statement following the Vice President’s televised debate against Trump on Tuesday night.
Former President Trump posted ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT ‘ in all-capital letters on his social media platform, Truth Social.
Swift recently publicly endorsed Kamala Harris ‘ bid for president – an action that drove a reported 338,000 visits to Vote.gov, a federal voter registration website that the ‘Fortnight’ singer linked to in her endorsement post on Instagram.
This was not the first time that Trump criticized the pop superstar this week, saying that he likes ‘Mrs. Mahomes much better’.
In Week 1’s NFL opener, Swift was in a luxury box alongside Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman. Notably absent from Swift’s box was Brittany Mahomes .
That helped fuel speculation that there may be a rift between the two because of political differences.
But, as Daily Mail sources said after the first game of the season, there’s no bad blood between the two.
The pair had been spotted out at a swanky Kansas City cocktail bar after the first game of the 2024 season, celebrating the start of another NFL campaign.
Swift and Mahomes were also spotted together enjoying the men’s singles final at the US Open last Sunday.
Brittany has also been subject to some pretty brutal trolling from fans of Swift’s in recent days since the endorsement.
But a source exclusively told DailyMail.com that they ‘respect that they have different views’ and have made a ‘pact’ to avoid discussing politics last month.
It remains to be seen if the friends will be seen together off the field.
