NFL fans noticed the same sad and unfortunate thing regarding Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence during the team’s ugly Week 3 loss to the Buffalo Bills on “Monday Night Football.”
Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars were annihilated 47-10 by Josh Allen and the Bills at Highmark Stadium, dropping the AFC South club to 0-3 on the year. Barring a turnaround of epic proportions, the Jags will miss the playoffs for the second straight year after winning the AFC South and reaching the Divisional Round just two seasons ago.
Brenden Deeg of theScore posted a clip on X/Twitter of Lawrence taking a sack from Casey Toohill late in the fourth quarter. Deeg wrote that the 2021 first-overall pick “is broken” in a post that has quickly gone viral:

Deeg’s post led to plenty of responses that also pointed out how much the former Clemson star has fallen:
The Carson Wentz spin move to nowhere…..

Sadly we may be seeing the result of throwing these young QBs out there day 1 usually with no offensive lines and few weapons. Learning bad habits and/or just getting pummeled.

Fatal spin move

David Carr all over again 😔 dude is frightened out there seeing ghosts 👻👻

It’s time he finds a new place. He is a qb that can be successful somewhere else I think. Just like Zach Wilson showing life in Denver. A move can help

this a different level of bad. I ain’t ever seen this

As noted by Trey Wingo, Trevor Lawrence has now lost eight straight starts dating back to last season. Jacksonville looked poised to win the AFC South for a second straight year after starting out 8-3 in 2023, only to drop five of their final six games to finish 9-8.
It’s time for Casey Toohill to eat 😤

Lawrence’s unraveling since last December is indeed difficult to comprehend. The quarterback can’t take all the blame, however, and it might only be a matter of time until head coach Doug Pederson is replaced before the season slips away further.
Trevor Lawrence’s $275 Million Extension Looks Like A Disaster Already
The Jaguars surprised many by handing T-Law a massive five-year extension worth $275 million over the summer, even though the former Clemson star had yet to display any consistency as an NFL QB.
Lawrence’s extension doesn’t even kick in until 2026, as his rookie deal runs through the 2025 season. So it’s not at all a stretch to believe that Jaguars owner Shad Khan and GM Trent Baalke are already regretting the decision to pay a mediocre QB top dollar.
