Seattle Seahawks star Laviska Shenault returned kickoff for a breathtaking 97-yard touchdown on Thursday night – an effort which clearly took its toll on the player.
After his incredible kickoff return against the San Francisco 49ers, Shenault was caught by Amazon Prime cameras puking on the sidelines at the end of the third quarter.
Prime’s play-by-play man Al Michaels was pointing out 49ers defensive lineman Nick Bosa when cameras suddenly cut to the 26-year-old throwing up, which he calmly described as ‘sickness on the sideline’.
Despite the grueling effect it had on his body, Shenault’s moment of magic restored hope for Seattle heading into the fourth quarter, with the offense capping another drive with a touchdown to make it a one possession game.
Yet in the end it proved very little as the Niners went on to seal a 36-24 victory and hand the Seahawks their third straight defeat.

Fans were left stunned by the sight of Shenault vomiting after his incredible touchdown, with one writing on X: ‘That return really f****d him up lol’.
Another joked: ‘Even caught Al off guard’.
While one quipped: ‘Sleepless in Seattle? Sickness in Seattle’.
Shenault is currently in his first season with the Seahawks after signing for the team back in April.
The wide receiver and kickoff returner was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, before being traded to the Carolina Panthers two years later.
His heroics on Thursday night were in vain, though, as San Francisco secured the win in Seattle.
After the game, 49ers stars George Kittle and Kyle Jusczcyk leapt into the stands to celebrate scoring touchdowns with their wives.

Kittle had just scored his second touchdown of the game but appeared to finish celebrating before teammate Jusczcyk pulled him back and pointed to the seats nearby.
Kittle immediately spotted his wife Claire, who was sat next to Jusczcyk’s partner Kristin. The teammates raced over together and leapt up to hug their wives, who were laughing hysterically.
Moments after Kittle scored, Jusczcyk got in on the act and celebrated his touchdown by leaping up towards Kristin and giving her his touchdown ball.
