Since his controversial commencement speech at Benedictine College, chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has been tied to politics. The speech touched on subjects like President Joe Biden, abortion, and, of course, women’s roles in society.
At one point, he mentioned that the women receiving degrees that day were probably more excited about starting a family and becoming a wife than their academic achievement.
However, that was months ago, and Butker had stayed somewhat out of the spotlight until he decided to announce who would be getting his vote in the upcoming presidential election.
While appearing on Fox News, a host asked Butker if he would support nominee Donald Trump. Butker responded, “I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn.”

Of course, that was Butkers way of saying “yes” without having to say it directly.
It’s not much of a surprise, though, as Butker has not shied away from letting everyone know that his ideals align more with the Republican party than the Democrat’s.
Harrison Butker Also Endorsed A Republican Senator
This is not the only Republican politician that Butker has openly supported.
He has also thrown himself on the front lines to support Republican Missouri Senator Josh Hawley in his efforts to be re-elected.
“So thankful for Sen. Hawley for his pro-life stance,” Butker said, according to KSHB. “For him fighting for strong borders. We have to protect this country and get it in order.”
Of course, that pro-life stance was a strong point in Butker’s support of Donald Trump in the video shown above.
Butker now just becomes one of the many athletes who feel that it is necessary for them to use their platform to spread and talk about what they think is right in the political world.
