One of the wives of a member of the Kansas City Chiefs players cannot help but look at the romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift with joy.
Speaking exclusively to People, Jayla Thornton-Cook – the wife of Chiefs safety Bryan Cook – called the relationship between the tight end and the pop superstar ‘beautiful’ and stressed how important it is for the WAGs of the team to support each other.
Thornton-Cook also decided to offer up some advice to the couple on how to stay strong amidst busy schedules.
‘I feel like it’s beautiful,’ she told People when asked the Kelce-Swift relationship. ‘It all is a work-life balance and everybody’s going through different things.
‘So just for them to acknowledge how hard it is to manage relationships and just deal with everything,’
Thornton-Cook also offered the couple some advice: ‘I feel like it’s a great spotlight to have. It is definitely very cool for them. Balance is just the main word of everything, just trying to balance everything. And they’ve been having a really good season so far.’
Since the start of the NFL season, Swift has been spotted three times in the suites at Arrowhead Stadium where she was seen supporting her man on the field.
The ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart’ singer was seen during this week’s Monday Night Football contest between the Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints – which Kansas City won 26-13.
After the win, Swift was seen chatting it up with Chariah Gordon – the fiancée of Chiefs wideout Mecole Hardman – in one of the Arrowhead Stadium luxury boxes.
Swift hailed the Chiefs’ ‘perfect’ win to take their record to 5-0 as she partied in her VIP suite with other WAGs including Chariah Gordon.
The singer appeared on the Instagram story of Chariah Gordon after the game – the partner of Kelce’s teammate Mecole Hardman.
Swift appeared to be in Kelce’s suite – there was picture of her performing on her Era’s Tour in the background – and she was asked by Gordon what she thought of the victory.
‘No, it’s important that you answer the question this time,’ Swift said, before Gordon continued: ‘I think that we feel really good about this week, we are 5-0.’
After the game, Swift and Kelce were spotted locking lips before they eventually spent the night out on the town celebrating Travis’s birthday.
The following day, Kelce and Swift were seen jetting out of Kansas City for the East Coast as the Chiefs are on their bye week.
While it’s not clear what the couple will be up to, Travis did provide a hint on the latest episode of his ‘New Heights’ podcast alongside his brother, Jason Kelce.
‘You got any bye week plans?’ Jason asked. ‘Of course I do,’ Travis quickly replied.
‘You gonna tell anybody?’ Jason asked. ‘No,’ Travis said. ‘But if any of it comes out [in the media], I’m sure we’ll talk about it on the show.’
Swift has only a little more down time before she kicks off the concluding leg of her ‘Eras Tour’ which has spanned the globe. She takes the first of her final five stops on October 18 in Miami.
