Everyone Is Praying For “College GameDay” Host Lee Corso After Recent Heartbreaking Development

Lee Corso has been an essential part of college football for as long as many people can remember. He has been with ESPN’s “College GameDay” since 1987 and is one of the few people in sports media who have been able to stick around for so long,

Of course, Corso is now 89 years old, and his best days as a host are likely far behind him. Everyone has noticed his struggle with his health over the past few years, and this isn’t starting to get better.

On Saturday, the crew headed to Eugene, Oregon, for the Ducks vs. Ohio State game, and Corso was not in attendance. This was now the second week in a row he has been absent.

Many fans are now praying and hoping he can soon get better.

“College Game Day: Second week in a row without Lee Corso…miss you, Coach! Sending prayers and positive energy for a speedy recovery!” said one comment.

“Prayers for Lee. Love him, miss seeing him regularly and he’ll forever be one of the most memorable colleagues I ever had in this business,” said another
