VIDEO: Shilo Sanders Had His Ankles Snapped In Half By Kansas State Player During Colorado’s Loss To Wildcats

It was a tough day at the office for Shilo Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday night. They faced their toughest test yet on their Big 12 schedule, and they came away with a loss and a couple of broken ankles.

To the Buffaloes’ credit, they did hang in there every step of the way with the no. 18 ranked Kansas State Wildcats. But in the end, they just couldn’t secure the statement win at home, falling to their new conference rival by a score of 31-28.

A big part of KSU’s success was the result of a solid ground game, led by running back DJ Giddens’ 182 yards on 25 carries. And one of those 25 rushing attempts saw him snatch the ankles of Shilo Sanders, who was brought to his knees by Giddens’ nasty juke.

With another 38 yards through the air, Giddens accounted for over half of his team’s total yards on offense.

As for Shilo Sanders, he did account for 7 total tackles in the game, despite missing this one by a mile.
