VIDEO: Cameras Caught Georgia Head Coach Kirby Smart Getting Physical With A Mississippi State Player Along The Sidelines

Kirby Smart is one of the best coaches in college football and consistently puts his Georgie Bulldogs in the conversation for a National Championship. Sometimes, though, even the best make mistakes.

That’s exactly what Smart did in Georgia’s latest matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

While the head coach was arguing with an official, cameras showed him shoving a Mississippi quarterback, Michael Van Buren, out of the way, which was completely uncalled for.

Of course, there’s no reason for a head coach to do things like this, and social media is destroying him for his actions.

“Unacceptable. Heat of the moment I understand but absolutely not acceptable,” said one comment.

“Well considering what his players are doing off the field, it doesn’t surprise me that Kirby did this. Terrible culture at UGA,” said another.

“He needs to be suspended for at least 1 game. I can’t remember seeing anything like this since Woody Hayes (which was much worse). Kirby needs to apologize, take the suspension, and move on,” added a third.

“If this was reversed, player pushes the opposing coach; automatic ejection and likely suspended multiple games,” continued a fourth.

This could turn into something that the NCAA needs to take a closer look at and possibly hand out some sort of punishment.

Kirby Smart Gives Credit To Fans At Misissisipi State Game

Georgie barely scraped by winning 41-31 against a Mississippi State team going in at 1-4 and ranked among the worst in the SEC.

With the game being at home at Sanford Stadium, Smart credited the fans for showing up and staying loud throughout the game.

“I was really pleased with the crowd, the effort and the energy in the stadium really helped us,” he said, according to DawgNation.
