Olivia Rodrigo took a brutal fall through a stage trapdoor during her “Guts” world tour stop in Australia on Monday night.
The “Drivers License” songstress was seen in a video posted to X hyping up the crowd at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne when she mistakenly walked into the massive hole.
Fans gasped as they saw the pop star plunge below the stage and as she quickly brushed off the mishap.
“Oh my god, that was fun,” Rodrigo, 21, said as she climbed back on stage without assistance.
“I’m OK. Sometimes there is just a hole in the stage, that’s all right. OK … where was I? How are you doing tonight Melbourne!”
Several fans on social media praised the “Brutal” singer for handling the fall graciously, with one writing, “She handled that so well.”
“luckily she’s fine,” another added, as a third chimed in, “Hope she’s doing alright! Stages can be tricky sometimes, but I’m sure she’s a pro and will bounce back strong.”
Rodrigo later poked fun at her fall by posting a video of the incident to TikTok.
“subtleforeshadowing,” she captioned the post, seemingly referring to her 2023 hit, “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” from her “Guts” album.
The lyrics to the track read, “I broke a glass, I tripped and fell, I told secrets I shouldn’t tell / I stumbled over all my words, I made it weird, I made it worse / Each time I step outside, it’s social suicide.”
The “Traitor” singer is gearing up to finish her world tour with four nights at the Sydney Olympic Park in Australia from Oct. 17 to Oct 22.
Earlier this year, Rodrigo suffered another onstage mishap when her leather top became unfastened during her tour stop in London.
