Sterling Mahomes has become Taylor Swift’s protégé on a different stage.
During an appearance on “The Drive” podcast Tuesday, Patrick Mahomes revealed his 3-year-old daughter has spent a lot of time in the kitchen with Swift ever since she began dating his teammate Travis Kelce last summer.
“Sterling is a big baker as well so they make some stuff together sometimes and I’m not gonna say I don’t eat them,” the quarterback, 29, said.
The two-time NFL MVP shares the toddler and 1-year-old son Bronze with wife Brittany Mahomes, who has become one of Swift’s close friends.
Although Patrick admitted the “Fortnight” singer hasn’t “specifically” baked for him, he has been lucky enough to try a few of her “different treats, like muffins and donuts.”
Patrick noted that Swift’s culinary confections have lived up to expectations.
“It is as good as everybody has talked about,” he said. “She is great when it comes to baking.”
Although Swift has become known for her homemade Pop-Tarts, the NFL star admitted that he “has never” tried one of the toaster pastries.
In February, Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, revealed the hitmaker made Kelce and some of his teammates special treats throughout the 2023 season.
“She likes to cook so she made the offensive lineman these homemade Pop-Tarts,” Reid revealed during a livestream.
The legendary coach said the kind gesture won the team over instantly — even if he didn’t get the chance to try one himself.
The 14-time Grammy winner also baked Kelce a sheet of cinnamon rolls — one of his favorite sweets — at the beginning of their romance.
“Taylor makes a great Pop-Tart and cinnamon roll,” the NFL star, 35, told reporters in June.
When the couple isn’t stepping out for dinner with their A-list friends, they love cooking together and bonding over homemade meals.
Kelce recently admitted the superstar has opened up his palate to other types of cuisines after years of being a “picky” eater.
During a recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast, the tight end told brother Jason Kelce that he was “starting to open up” to new foods.
