Trent Williams got tossed from the 49ers’ loss to the Chiefs early after he clocked Bryan Cook in the head late in the fourth quarter.
The wild exchange was captured by the Fox broadcast and a replay showed that Cook was the first one to dish out a little extracurriculars, but it was Williams’ response that seemed to catch everyone’s attention.

Cook looked as though he gave Williams a quick jab as the offensive tackle was trying to get up after the play was over.
Williams didn’t take too kindly to the move and when he got close to being back on his feet he gave Cook a right hook to the back of the helmet.
The refs clearly caught Williams’ retaliation and he was penalized for the action.
However, SF Gate reported that Williams didn’t actually leave the field of play until the two-minute warning and that when he was walking back to the Niners locker room he could be seen chirping toward the Chiefs sideline.
The Fox broadcast also mentioned Williams’ unwillingness to leave when they showed him walking toward the locker room.
“Trent Williams did not want to leave. Ejected after throwing a punch after he got punched by Bryan Cook,” Kevin Burkhardt said on the broadcast. “It’s just frustration for the 49ers, and the bottom line is they’re just overall frustrated. This doesn’t make up for the Super Bowl, you know that, but they’ve lost to [the Chiefs] twice in the Super Bowl and two more times in the regular season.”
