PHOTO: Russell Wilson’s Wife Ciara Celebrates “Victory Monday” After Steelers’ Win Over The Jets On SNF

The Pittsburgh Steelers made one of the most controversial moves in football after putting Russell Wilson on the depth chart heading into their Sunday Night Football game against Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets, and it looks like Ciara immensely enjoyed the results.

The Steelers decided to start veteran quarterback Russell Wilson for the week seven victory and benched Justin Fields following a solid 4-2 start to the 2024 NFL season. Even though fans were upset with the move, Mike Tomlin knew what he was doing as the Steelers scored 37-15 in victory.

Pop singer Ciara is the wife of the former Seahawks and Broncos signal caller, and it seemed as though she enjoyed her hubby’s first start of the NFL season after she took to Instagram to celebrate the victory.

“Victory Monday! Go Daddy,” she posted. In the picture, Ciara posed with the couple’s three children, Sienna and Amora, and the middle child, Win, and another kid in the suite. All five were in Steelers gear following the win.

Russell Wilson Cooked In The Steelers’ Week Seven Win

Wilson had a solid showing in the Steelers’ win over the newly acquired Davante Adams and the New York Jets. His 264 yards and 2 passing touchdowns led to the 38-year-old veteran earning himself a 109 QBR.

This was Wilson’s first start as a Pittsburgh Steeler after the Denver Broncos released him in the 2024 off-season. After a less-than-spectacular tenure with the Broncos, Wilson would end up signing a one-year prove-it deal in Pittsburgh before getting injured ahead of the regular season.

Now that the Steelers have proved they have two very good quarterback options in Fields and Wilson, they are a very scary team in 2024. The odds are that Wilson will get most of the starts in 2024, as head coach Mike Tomlin believes he will give them the best chance at victory.

However, the question remains… when, if possible, will we see Justin Fields get the nod in Pittsburgh again?
