LASIK Wins The Internet With Their Savage Shot At NFL Refs Following Controversial Missed Call During ‘Thursday Night Football’

On Thursday night, the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams squared off to start Week 8 of the NFL regular season.

It was a tight game throughout the entire thing, but the ending was surrounded by controversy, with the Rams winning 30-20.

The Vikings were trying to mount a last-minute comeback while backed up in their endzone, down 28-20.

On second and ten, the Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold took the snap from shotgun and backed up a few yards into the endzone. Suddenly, Ramd edge rusher Byron Young blew through the offensive line and sacked Darnold for safety.

However, there was just one problem. Young had tackled Darnold by the facemask, which should have been an automatic penalty and a free 15 yards for Minnesota.

Unfortunately, even with a referee just yards away from the play, it went uncalled, and the Rams won.
