“BFFs” is taking a brief break after Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia’s headline-making breakup.
One week after Zach Bryan revealed his split from the 25-year-old, she told the podcast’s TikTok followers not to expect a new episode Wednesday.
“Hey guys! We tried to record this week but I am having a very hard time figuring out how I want to handle this publicly due to all the backlash,” the influencer wrote.
“I am going to put my mental health first this week,” she explained. “[Co-hosts] Josh [Richards] and Dave [Portnoy] want to make sure I do what’s best for me.
“I need to prioritize the right things this week,” LaPaglia concluded. “I hope you can all understand.”
She began dating Bryan, 28, last year, with the country singer allegedly “blindsid[ing]” her by writing via Instagram on Oct. 22 that they had called it quits.
“I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things,” his statement read without specification. “I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways.”
LaPaglia subsequently released a tearful YouTube video in which she called the breakup “really, really heartbreaking” and confessed to “crying for five days straight.”
She claimed Bryan had not warned her about his social media upload before posting.
“How can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally through stuff that you shouldn’t … and then be discarded of in a few days?” LaPaglia asked.
She also wrote via Instagram Stories that she would “be back and ready to talk” eventually.
Later that same week, Portnoy labeled himself a “Zach Bryan hater” on an episode of “The Unnamed Show” podcast.
