For Week 10 of “FOX NFL Sunday,” the crew traveled to the San Diego Naval Base to honor Veterans Day, which falls on Monday. This tradition happens yearly, but Rob Gronkowski might have created a new one.
At one point, the cameras pan to a helicopter flying over the Pacific Ocean, and it is announced that Gronk will jump out of the helicopter into the water.
You can hear another member of the crew say that it was about a 20- to 25-foot drop, so it was definitely high up enough to be a bit scary.
When he finally did make the jump, there was a crowd of cheers, and then a GoPro attached to Gronk gave a good shot of his face, which looked a bit concerned.

Luckily, a professional naval diver also made the jump before Gronk, so there was little chance of something going wrong.

Somehow, Gronk jumping out of a running helicopter isn’t surprising.
Social media could not get enough of the stunt.
