Randy Moss will miss his first Sunday NFL Countdown less than a week after he announced he would be taking a break due to his health.

Moss is a fan favorite on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown.”

Fans tuning into the show in Week 14 likely noticed Moss’ absence, but his presence was surely felt.

While he was not on television, the crew of Mike Greenberg, Rex Ryan, Tedy Bruschi, and Alex Smith still went on to do his favorite segment, “You Got Mossed.”

Randy Moss took to X to deliver a message to let people know he was watching and appreciated the support.

“I luv my teammates and my fans!!” he wrote on X.

Moss revealed this past Sunday that “me and my wife, me and my family, we are battling something internally.”

The Hall of Fame wide receiver-turned-analyst has been a beloved figure since his days in college.

He lived up to everything as he retired, ranking second to Jerry Rice with 156 touchdown catches and 982 career catches for 15,292 yards.

Moss has been a staple of Sunday NFL Countdown since 2016. However, he is currently on a leave of absence while he deals with a personal health matter.

Last week, Moss revealed that he was “battling something internally” and explained that he would be wearing glasses throughout the show.

The Hall of Fame wide receiver had previously asked fans to pray for him and his family in an Instagram post. He also directed men to get checkups and bloodwork done without specifying any particular illness.

He has not discussed what his ailment is.
