Ciryl Gane Reveals Shocking X-Ray Of Foot Injury After Volkov Fight – “There Was No Foot Left!”

Fighters often suffer severe injuries during fights, even in the early rounds, yet still manage to finish the bout. UFC 310 showcased some brutal knockouts and submissions, including Bryce Mitchell’s devastating KO elbow against Kron Gracie. However, not all knockouts result in serious damage. Ciryl Gane, who secured a decision victory against Alexander Volkov, sustained a major foot injury during his fight.

Following UFC 310, Ciryl Gane is facing an extended recovery period after suffering a significant injury during his controversial split decision victory over Volkov. The former interim heavyweight champion left the Octagon visibly frustrated and later revealed in the post-fight press conference that he broke his left toe with the very first step he threw, which severely limited his mobility.

Speaking with Joe Rogan after the fight, Gane confirmed the injury, later sharing an X-ray on Instagram that highlighted three fractures in his foot. Reflecting on the ordeal, he wrote: “It wasn’t just my toe, but also both metatarsals that gave way at the start of the first round. Needless to say, there was no foot left, but we didn’t give up and fought with them.”

The UFC 310 rematch between Gane and Volkov promised fireworks. Instead, it sparked outrage. A split-decision win for the French heavyweight had fans, commentators, and even Dana White questioning what unfolded in the Octagon.
