New York, NY | Tribeca
The “Cardigan” singer bought two adjacent penthouses at 155 Franklin Street in Tribeca for $19.95 million in 2014.
She purchased the pricey pads from “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson.
Swift combined the apartments into one home, creating a luxurious duplex containing 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and a billiards room. She famously loaned the investment piece to Sophie Turner after the actress and Joe Jonas filed for divorce.
Four years after purchasing, Swift expanded the home again when she bought the second-floor unit in the building for nearly $10 million from financier Jeremy Phillips in an off-market deal. The new addition spans 3,540 square feet.
Swift started taking over the entire block in 2017 when she snatched up a townhouse right next door for a cool $18 million.
The 100-year-old, three-story home features a gym, a spa, antique French oak floors and a planted terrace with a Japanese paper glass wall.
The building has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms and a separate apartment next door for the Grammy winner’s security team.
Swift has made several updates to her Franklin Street compound — having submitted permits to the NYC Department of Buildings for over $1 million in renovations.
New York, NY | West Village
Swift sought refuge in a West Village townhouse rental when her Tribeca home was undergoing renovations.
She reportedly paid $38,000 a month in 2016 and 2017 to live in the digs, which was built in the 1970s and used to store horse-drawn carriages.
The 5,500-square-foot pad boasts four bedrooms, five bathrooms, two powder rooms, an eat-in kitchen, multiple terraces, a rooftop lounge, an indoor lap pool and a garage.
The brick building inspired her song “Cornelia Street” on her 2019 album “Lover,” in which she sang, “We were in the backseat / Drunk on something stronger than the drinks in the bar / “I rent a place on Cornelia Street” / I say casually in the car.”
After Swift moved out, the value of the property went up as the home was listed for sale with an asking price of $17.9 million or a monthly rental fee of $45,000.
Westerly, Rhode Island | Watch Hill
Swift acquired a gorgeous waterfront mansion in Westerly, Rhode Island’s ritzy Watch Hill neighborhood for $17.75 million in 2013.
The 11,000-square-foot estate — nicknamed High Watch or Holiday House — has eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and eight fireplaces.
The 5.23-acre property, complete with a patio and massive swimming pool overlooking the ocean, boasts 700 feet of private beachfront.
In January 2025, reports surfaced that Swift obtained building permits for an expansion project estimated to be worth $1.7 million.
Swift’s plans include adding a 16-by-24-foot bedroom, new bathrooms and updating her existing kitchen.
The home has been the backdrop of her famous star-studded 4th of July pool parties dubbed “Taymerica” and was also the inspiration behind her 2020 song “The Last Great American Dynasty.”
The tune is about the American socialite who once lived there, Rebekah Harkness.
“Her name was Rebekah Harkness. And she lived in the house that I ended up buying in Rhode Island. That’s how I learned about her,” Swift said in a Rolling Stone interview in 2020. “But she was a woman who was very, very talked about, and everything she did was scandalous. I found a connection in that.”
Nashville, Tennessee | Music Row
One of Swift’s first real estate endeavors was at the age of 20 when she snatched up a $1.9 million penthouse on Nashville’s Music Row in 2009.
The 3,240-square-foot corner duplex condo in the luxe Adelicia complex has three bedrooms, high ceilings and an open concept.
The luxury building offers fancy amenities including a heated Olympic-length pool and a personal trainer.
“I wanted, like, every color,” she told Vulture in 2013 while reflecting on the Alice in Wonderland-inspired design concept of the apartment.
Nashville, Tennessee | Northumberland Estate
The “Fortnight” artist — who was heavily inspired by the Nashville music scene throughout her career — bought a Greek revival estate in Tennessee’s capital city for $2.5 million in 2011.
The property, dubbed Northumberland Estate, was erected in 1934 and includes a 5,600-square-foot main house with four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
A 2,000-square-foot guesthouse was built beside the home in 1964.
The mansion, built by former US ambassador to Denmark Guilford Dudley Jr., is situated on 6 acres of land.
Sources told Page Six in December 2024 that Swift would be making Nashville more of a home base to be closer to boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games.
Los Angeles, California | Beverly Hills
Swift used to own three impressive homes in Los Angeles, Calif., but over the years that number has dwindled to just one gorgeous estate.
In 2018, Swift sold her Cape Cod-style cottage in Beverly Hills for $4 million and a smaller single-story home used as a guesthouse for $2.65 million.
However, she is still the proud owner of a 1934 Georgian Revival estate she purchased for $25 million in 2015.
