Insane Video Shows Never-Ending Line Of Chiefs Fans Waiting To Tailgate In The Freezing Cold Weather Almost 9 Hours Before Divisional Round Game vs. Texans

Kansas City Chiefs fans are gearing up for another run at the Super Bowl ahead of their first taste of the playoffs in 2025.

The Chiefs earned themselves a postseason bye, having lost just two games all season. And they are set to jump into the action with a Divisional-Round matchup against the Houston Texans following the latter’s win over the Los Angeles Chargers in their Wild Card affair last weekend.

Fans are expectedly super-excited ahead of the contest, and lots of them have made their way to Arrowhead Stadium early, with ESPN’s Jeff Darlington recording a long line of vehicles carrying supporters ready to tailgate on his way to the grounds.

“The obligatory video of Chiefs fans lined up outside the gates of Arrowhead 8.5 hours before the game to tailgate in 18-degree weather,” he wrote as the caption to the clip shown below.

Kansas City Chiefs Fans Are Ready To Brave The Elements

Fans of the Kansas City Chiefs are used to being out in the cold and would argue that this year’s conditions are tame when compared to previous seasons.

Inclement weather isn’t expected this Saturday. Still, reports indicate that it will be below freezing. The temperature is expected to be between 20 and 25 degrees, and a steady wind up to 15 mph will make it even colder.

On the bright side, there’s a zero percent chance of precipitation, which will assist the conditions for the game, given that passing should be a bit difficult because of the wind.

In any case, it should be an exciting affair, as two of the best quarterbacks of the current era will be on display.
