It’s been over a year since Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift went public with their relationship. As the annoyance and even borderline hatred for the two’s love affair are spilled online, one person, in particular, has always had an angle on making some headlines in Kelce’s love life, and that is Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole.
The tight end’s ex-girlfriend and social media influencer made headlines this week when she appeared on an episode of the “I Am Athlete Daily” podcast, where she told the world who she wanted to see in the Super Bowl.
Here’s a clue: it’s anyone but the Kansas City Chiefs.
That isn’t a clue; rather, it’s the general vibe Nicole seemed to share about the upcoming big game in a few weeks.
Nicole used to make appearances prior to games and became a well-known figure at Arrowhead Stadium when she and Kelce were an item. Since the split, she seems to have switched up on which NFL team she follows.
Nicole said she is ready for another team to win a Super Bowl, and that the Chiefs run has been flat-out “boring,” and that she is actively rooting for a Buffalo Bills this Sunday night in the AFC Championship game.
Despite the critique of her former boyfriend’s team, Nicole gave credit where credit is due, stating that Mahomes is a student of the game, Andy Reid’s coaching prowess, and how hard it is to win at Arrowhead due to the noise and overall atmosphere there.
She also spilled the beans on her relationship with all the other WAGS of Chiefs players, stating that she had to separate herself recently due to the growing connection with pop star Taylor Swift, who is now a staple of Chiefs games.
Nicole has been making headlines ever since the pair broke up and has been compared to Swift on numerous occasions since her ex and the pop star became the tabloids’ most major talking points in the past year.
However, she’s gone on to have some success of her own with her gig at I Am Athlete. Recently, she was a contestant on “Special Forces. ” For this week, she clearly wants to be a member of the Bills Mafia.
