Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has expressed his deep regret and outrage over his experience with his transgender child, Xavier, now known as Vivian Jenna Wilson. In an interview with Dr Jordan Peterson, Musk revealed he felt “tricked” into consenting to puberty blockers for his child, describing the situation as being misled during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Musk, who called puberty blockers “sterilization drugs,” said that he was not fully informed about the irreversible effects of the treatment. He criticized the term “gender affirming care” as a “terrible euphemism.” Musk recounted his realization that he had “lost his son” to what he calls the “woke mind virus,” a term he uses to describe the ideology he believes led to his child’s transition.

During the interview, Peterson interjected, labeling the situation as “incredibly evil,” a sentiment Musk agreed with, calling for those promoting such treatments to face prison. Musk has vowed to “destroy the woke mind virus” following his personal ordeal.
Musk, the founder of SpaceX, expressed his agreement with Jordan Peterson’s stance that individuals who advocate for a particular practice involving minors should face imprisonment. Musk asserted that the practice is carried out on “children ‘who are far below the age of consent.'”
Musk revealed that he was misled into participating in this practice, which resulted in a profound loss. “I was tricked into doing this,” Musk said. “I lost my son, essentially.” He further explained the term “deadnaming,” suggesting that it is used because the child’s identity is no longer recognized. “The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead.”
In June 2022, Vivian publicly came out as transgender, legally changing her name and severing ties with Musk. The decision coincided with Musk’s announcement to relocate SpaceX’s headquarters from California to Texas, citing frustrations with California’s laws, particularly a new bill preventing schools from notifying parents if their child identifies as a different gender.
Musk has been vocal about his stance against the “woke” movement and has taken significant steps, including moving company headquarters, in response to policies he views as harmful to families and businesses.
