VIDEOS: Driver Arrested & Several People Injured After Car Runs Into Philadelphia Eagles Fans Celebrating NFC Championship Win On Sunday Night

Several people were injured after a car drove into a crowd during the celebrations in Philadelphia on Sunday night.

With the Eagles beating the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game to book themselves a trip to the Super Bowl, supporters were out in large numbers, filling the streets as the partying carried on late into the night.

However, things took a bad turn as someone would drive right into a group of fans, sending people flying everywhere.

The incident was caught on camera and can be seen below, but we warn that it’s graphic.

The collision is said to have taken place around 9:30 PM, a few hours after the Eagles secured passage to Super Bowl 59, where they will face the Chiefs, who beat the Bills in the AFC Championship game, which was already underway at the time.

The Authorities Do Not Believe The Driver In Question Run Into The Philadelphia Eagles Fans On Purpose

TMZ reports that the driver of the car is in police custody, although authorities do not suspect that the crash was intentional.

Police have also confirmed that three people were injured in the accident. Fortunately, their injuries were not life-threatening.

Gunshots also rang out in downtown Philadelphia on the night.

A Washington Post reporter initially revealed hearing shots being fired after getting out of an Uber following his departure from Lincoln Financial Field, claiming to have also seen people running toward the scene of a brawl.

A video later surfaced on social media showing a fan pulling out a gun and firing several shots into the air while celebrating.

No one was hurt.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ 55-23 blowout win sees them through to the big game in New Orleans on February 9. They will hope to avenge their controversial loss to Kansas City two years ago.
