During the Sunday, Jan. 12 episode of the Sunday Sports Club with Allison KuchKelce, 32, said that it’s “so important” to take time out for yourself as a mom. The soon-to-be mom of four told host Allison Kuch, 30, that her nanny has been a “huge” help in giving her the ability to address her mom guilt and “step away.”

“The girls don’t cry when I leave. They’re excited that she’s there,” she said of her nanny. “I know that we’ve had enough discussion that she is holding them to the same standards that I hold them to.”

Kelce told Kuch that although other people may be in the home, she knows that as long as she’s there, her children will come to Mom first for help. As she prepares to welcome her fourth child, a baby girl, with husband and retired NFL center Jason Kelce, 37, she is making sure to remember to take small moments for herself.

“When there is an infant, like a newborn in the house, I was once told by a maternity nurse, like a recovery nurse in labor and delivery, that you should prioritize showering every day [because] it might be the only five minutes you get to yourself,” she told Kuch.

“I have really tried to take that to heart when I come home and am in recovery phase because sometimes it really is the only time you do not have a baby touching you,” she added.

Kylie already shares three daughters with Jason. The two welcomed their first daughter, Wyatt, 5, in October 2019. The duo had Elliotte, 3, in March 2021, and Bennett, 23 months, in Feb. 2023.

In May 2023, the former NFL player told PEOPLE that being a girl dad was the “biggest highlight” of his life.

“I think I told my mom after Wyatt was born, maybe the first year, I was like, ‘I’m sorry, I had no idea what you guys were actually sacrificing and doing on a daily basis for us,’ ” he said. “Being a father is by far the biggest highlight of my life, no question about it.”
